KVKK Information Notice

This is an English translation for convenience. The Turkish version is the binding text.

This notice is prepared under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") to inform people who visit engerektech.com and who write to us through the contact form or by email. The privacy policies of our apps are listed on the Privacy Policy page.

1. Data controller

2. What data we process, for what purpose and on what legal basis

The site uses no advertising, tracking or profiling cookies. Blog posts keep only a total read count; who read them is not recorded.

3. How we collect data

Data is collected from you when you fill in the contact form or send us an email; access logs and error reports are collected automatically when you visit the site.

4. Who we share it with

Your data is not sold or shared for advertising. It is transferred only to the service providers below, limited to what is needed to provide the service:

Server and hosting provider (the server running the site and the database)
Email delivery service (Amazon Web Services, SES): forwarding form messages to our team and replying to you. Its servers are abroad.
Telegram: notifying our team of a new message instantly. Its servers are abroad.
Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.): error reports, sent with the IP address removed. Its servers are abroad.
Public authorities legally entitled to request it, when they do

As these services' servers are abroad, contact form messages and error reports are transferred abroad within the scope of Article 9 of the KVKK. The transfer is limited to the purposes above and to the data those purposes require.

5. How long we keep it

Contact form messages are kept for 2 years from the last correspondence, then deleted or anonymised. Access logs are kept for the period required by law, and error reports for at most 90 days.

6. Your rights (KVKK Art. 11)

By applying to the data controller, you have the right to:

learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, request information about it,
learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used for that purpose,
know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred,
ask for it to be corrected if it is incomplete or wrong,
ask for it to be deleted or destroyed under the conditions of Article 7 of the KVKK,
ask for corrections, deletions and destructions to be notified to the third parties it was transferred to,
object to a result against you arising from analysis exclusively by automated systems,
claim compensation if you suffer damage from unlawful processing.

7. How to apply

You can send your application by email to info@engerektech.com, with information that lets us verify your identity. Under the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Applications to the Data Controller, applications are answered free of charge within 30 days at the latest.
